Lil Yachty to Launch Gender Neutral Nail Polish Line, Crete

Lil Yachty is the latest celebrity to tap into the world of beauty, with his new nail polish line, Crete.

The 23-year-old musician took to Instagram recently to introduce his latest venture to the world. “4 all genders, for you, not them!” he captioned the images, a first look into his gender-neutral creation.

What we know about Crete so far:

Dubbed ‘Negatives 001’, the first collection features three exclusive lacquers – monochromatic white, light grey and black. Furthermore, each shade has a matte finish which matches the sleek matte bottles each colour comes in. As shown below, each nail polish comes in a pen shaped bottle, with a syringe-like look. As well as that, the brands name printed across the front and a graphic design of the logo on the back.

The American rapper and songwriter isn’t new to wearing and showcasing his mani-pedi’s. In fact, it’s common for him to go on to the gram and show his latest nail art to his 10.1M followers. Alongside him, artists such as Bad Bunny, Harry Styles and A$AP Rocky have also openly embraced nail art, showing that nail polish is really and truly for anyone. Let’s be real here, nail polish is for anyone… with nails. It’s as simple as that.

“If someone wants to express themselves in any type of way, as long as it’s not harming anyone or bringing anybody down, they should be allowed to do so.”
