Under the Bridge: Caro Editions SS26

Caro Editions SS26: Under the Bridge

For Spring/Summer 2026, Caro Editions returned to a place close to the founders’ hearts beneath Copenhagen’s Knippelsbro bridge where Caroline and Frederik Bille Brahe were married. This personal location set the scene for Under the Bridge, a show that combined romance, memory, and a touch of rebellion. Polka dots are back, and I’m totally here for it!

The collection celebrates everyday beauty and intimacy. It balances soft, flowing silks and classic polka dots with the concrete walls and steel beams of the underpass. Inspired in part by Yoko Ono’s Brides on Tour. Designs featured delicate hand embroidery, flowing dresses that felt like veils, and easy-to-wear shapes suitable for people of all ages and styles. The collection’s soundtrack blended punk and pop, adding energy and emotion into the show.

One standout of the season was a collaboration with Mulberry. Caroline reimagined vintage Mulberry bags, adding playful bows, embroidery, and colourful appliqués. These bags felt like treasured keepsakes given new life as a nod to craftsmanship and personal history. Under the Bridge was more than a fashion show. It was a love letter to a city, a marriage, and the power of showing up together in full colour.

Caro Editions is a Copenhagen-based label known for mixing nostalgia with modern comfort. Founded in 2022 by Caroline Bille Brahe, the brand creates pieces that celebrate individuality over trends. Each item is designed with care often in limited runs reflecting a balance between spontaneous creativity and thoughtful design.
