One year on since their FW25 debut, Matières Fécales returned to Paris Fashion Week with their Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear collection. Actress Zendaya rocked fans with a series of bridal looks during the premieres of The Drama in March 2026. After keeping the bridalwear traditional, her stylist picked out a coral chiffon dress from the Spring 2026 Matières Fécales collection. Flowers flittering down the dress, maintaining a sense of femininity.
This shift from the bridal gowns to an ethereal design from the provocative label was bold yet fitting decision. Critics added how it was refreshing to see a dress that differed from the norm, adding dimension to Zendaya’s character in The Drama.

In the beginning of May, ‘fashion’s biggest night out’ took place, The Met Gala. This year’s theme was ‘Fashion is Art’ with celebrities exhibiting looks exploring the interrelationship between fashion, culture and art forms. Notoriously, actress Sarah Paulson delivered a politically charged statement, sporting a Matières Fécales FW26 ballgown and long-length gloves for a theatrical touch. The gown was made up of layers upon layers of sheer fabric to create a gothic yet couture silhouette.
Over the eyes, the actress wore a blindfold accessory from the ‘One Percent’ show collection, commenting on the excessive wealth of such events like The Met Gala. This adds to the idea that Matières Fécales are intentional. Each design challenges the fashion world in a provocative manner.

This month, we witnessed the return of Zendaya in Matières Fécales on the red carpet. Zendaya’s stylist dressed the actress in a desirable dress with a sweetheart hemline. The signature feathering detail aligned with the Greek mythology theme that Zendaya has been channelling at The Odyssey premieres.
Vogue said that the Hollywood actress’ stylist told Dalton and Bhaskaran two years ago to save dress from their FW 2025 collection which debuted at Paris Fashion Week. Matières Fécales is marking themselves as a couture label that values intimacy and authenticity with their clients.
Gabbriette Stuns in Wedding Gown

Model Gabbriette tied the knot with lead singer of The 1975 band Matty Healy in LA this month. Fans of the celebrities were blown away by the triad of unconventional bridal dresses, becoming the first bride to wear Matières Fécales. This crossover has been labelled as a ‘match made in heaven.’ Ahead of the big day, the fitting took place with her mother and friend at Dover Street in Paris. The pair drafted up to 30 sketches which were sent over to Gabbriette ahead of the try on day. The sketches were nailed down to three looks: pre-wedding, ceremony and post-wedding dress.
The first design was inspired by the gothic horror, Dracula. A slim-fitting black satin dress repurposed with a lace trail. The Victorian frayed drop-waist wedding gown was jaw-dropping. Gabbriette wore her hair in an over the top half-up, half-down style, nodding to the 1960’s. A theatrical dress, straight out of a barbaric romance novel. For the night ahead, a deconstructed version of the bridal gown into a white leather pant suit. It was flirty horror chic with a Madonna-inspired hat sitting on her updo. And the best part was the heels. A collaboration between Matières Fécales and Christian Louboutin. The infamous red bottom but with a twist.
Dalton told Vogue: “They are craving to taste something authentic that has soul and depth. To experience something intimate and personal,” and these Hollywood moments definitely convey this.
