Italian luxury fashion house Valentino has launched their own beauty line!
The brand is known for its makeup looks on the runway, and it has been anticipated that it would branch out into beauty and now that time finally is here!
Launching a full makeup range featuring 40 foundation shades, 50 lipstick shades and a range of eye products.
The red and gold detailing is a perfect match for the packaging since red is their signature colour. A few pieces stand out, including the Valentino Go Clutch that houses mini versions of the lipstick. Other eye-catching pieces include the Eye2Cheek creamy powder, which can be used on both eyes and cheeks.
Models and non-models alike appeared in the campaign for the launch, which reflects the brands focus on inclusivity. In the creative director’s statement, he expresses that the brand once focused on exclusivity, but is now shifting to an inclusive one.
“We moved from an aesthetic built on exclusivity to an inclusive one. We grew from a Two-dimensional version of beauty to a three-dimensional one where emotions, dreams and individuality are as important, if not more, as any other feature”– Pierpaolo Piccioil, Valentino (creative director)

A worldwide release is scheduled for August.
