For Spring Summer 2023, Tran Hung returned to London after two years of the Covid19 pandemic; the SS23 show marked a milestone in the designer’s career as an official member of the London Fashion Week schedule. But, of course, we all know London needs designers with a bang to show. Hung brought Haute Couture to the London scene the bang the designer needed.
Tran Hung SS23 Runway Report
But, unfortunately, the Queen’s passing did not make it easy for London-based designers like Tran Hung. Yet, the designer took the opportunity for the first on-schedule London Fashion Week show to extend gratitude to clients, partners and all supporters of the brand in the UK that has helped the brand to reach these milestones. Tran Hung was so proud to introduce the creativity of Vietnamese brands to the global fashion world during London Fashion Week’s Spring and Summer 23 collections.
The concept for Spring and Summer 23 is all about the glam and rich with colour. The inspiration was taken from nature’s romantic florals, with inspiration ranging from classic Roses to Poppies and Chrysanthemums; the collection brings together the beauty and colour palette of Spring and Summer blossoms. The sleek silhouettes introduce a sexy and elegant take, paired with the exquisite craftsmanship and handling of opulent materials.
