This fall promises to be especially exciting, as the Top 10 Beauty Trends for Fall, inspired by the seasonal fashion shows FW2024 and SS2025, will be taking the streets by storm. These shows dictate absolutely contrasting ideas for both everyday looks and evening events. Amidst a series of natural aesthetics, bold and vibrant accents emerge, slightly altered from summer but remaining key elements of today’s fashion makeup.
I’ve put together a selection of the Top 10 Beauty Trends for Fall that will be taking the streets by storm.

2. Boyfriend Blush
Even though this trend has been captivating TikTok for almost a year, it’s only now starting to emerge on a global scale. Instead of sculpting blush placement to elongate the face, this season’s technique encourages applying your favourite blush shade directly to the apples of your cheeks, achieving an ultra-natural look. The aim is to recreate that genuine, flushed effect—just like how your boyfriend looks when he blushes after receiving a compliment.
The colour recommendations have shifted this fall as well. We’re seeing more earthy-toned terracotta, subtle peach, and bright red shades making an impact. Despite these changes, pink remains the most popular choice among celebrity stylists and beauty bloggers this season.
For a long-lasting and radiant blush effect, start by applying a liquid blush and then set it with a powder blush. I’ve seen Huda Kattan using this technique in one of her videos, and her makeup always looks flawless

3. Bright Colour Eyeshadows
While many assume that bright eye colours are only suitable for summer, they can be just as captivating during the colder season, radiating confidence and positivity against autumn’s chill. This trend, carried over from the summer, continues to make a bold statement. If you’re aiming for a truly memorable look to stand out from the crowd, don’t hesitate to experiment with these shades, as bright eyes are a must-have this fall.
Eyeshadow textures can range from completely matte to iridescent finishes. You can apply a single bright eyeshadow on your eyelids and then enhance it by layering it with shimmery liquid shadows for added depth and shine.

4. Reverse Contouring with Quirky Highlighters.
Highlighter will remain the ultimate favourite among fashion enthusiasts, with a recommendation to conceal dull winter skin under a luminous layer of light shimmer. Apply a highlighter to contour your face’s structure by adding light to its high points. Pat McGrath refers to this technique as “sculpting with light” and has showcased it in multiple Schiaparelli shows.
Unusual-coloured highlighters are expected to make a comeback during the colder months. Take inspiration from celebrities like Rihanna, who consistently push beauty boundaries and experiment with unconventional shades.
Even though classic highlighters remain popular, don’t hesitate to apply a bit more this season, as the goal is to achieve an even more radiant glow.
5. No-Makeup Makeup or Bare
For this look, you’ll need practically nothing. Models on the runways of recent fashion shows have been walking with makeup that appears as though they’re not wearing any at all. There’s no visible highlighter or contouring, and yet their skin looks perfectly even and flawless. The focus is on achieving a uniform skin tone, giving the appearance of fresh, naturally radiant skin that looks effortlessly beautiful. This trend is perfect for those who love minimalism and don’t want to spend too much time on their daily makeup routine.

6. Fully Natural Brows or Nothing at all
Bold, defined brows are no longer in vogue. We’re moving away from brow tinting, gels, and the structured look. The current trend favours brows that look untouched and extremely natural. They can even appear slightly messy, giving the impression that you just woke up from sleep. All you need to do is care for your brows using growth serums to help them grow thicker and bushier.
For those wanting a more daring transformation, shaved brows are an option to consider. This look won’t seem out of place this season and is perfect for those aiming to create an edgy and dramatic effect

7. Statement Lashes
It’s the ideal moment to wear the most dramatic, voluminous lashes in your collection. While last summer’s trend was more natural, with many adopting the mascara-free appearance of famous TikTok influencers or going for brown-toned, natural-looking lash extensions, this fall and winter, we’re seeing a change towards more artificial-looking lashes. Erika La Pearl, a makeup artist who worked on the Marc Jacobs F/W 2024 show, advises experimenting with an eyelash look that features a lot of length and volume, reminiscent of the 60s.
This season, if you’re scared about wearing vibrant eyeshadows, you can confidently consider using colourful mascara shades instead. This trend made its comeback to the runways this year. Even though your appearance will be more reserved, it will still highlight the colour of your eyes and add dimension and character. Ardel Seamless Underlash Extensions are a great set.
8.Graphic eyeliner
Graphic eyeliner takes centre stage this fall, often being worn on its own without any eyeshadow. Experiment with avant-garde wing shapes to stay on-trend. Even if you’re aiming for a sleek, minimalist wing, try making it larger than usual to capture that runway-inspired effect. Graphic eyeliner also pairs perfectly with gothic and grunge looks, which are predicted to become some of the most popular styles later this winter. Remember, with graphic eyeliner, we aim to achieve a darker and more mysterious aesthetic, so we won’t pair it with colourful mascaras either. For the best wear time, choose waterproof pencil liners to ensure your look remains sharp and defined throughout the day.
Cool-toned makeup colours are having a major moment this season, with shades like grey, lavender, lilac, and metallics becoming the go-to choices. Lilac and grey, in particular, have emerged as some of the most favoured hues this fall.
Metallics, such as silver and platinum, are also key players in this cool-toned trend. Over the past two seasons of fashion weeks, makeup artists have introduced more subtle, cool-toned metallic eye looks, offering a fresh and wearable way to incorporate shimmer into your makeup routine. This trend is easy to try out, whether you want a bold, dramatic finish or a more refined, understated shimmer.

10. Faux Face Piercings
The faux piercings trend is gaining momentum, and we’re seeing a shift from the once-popular septum and nose piercings to bridge and brow piercings now taking the spotlight. These bold and edgy accessories are dominating the beauty scene, offering a fresh take on facial adornment. This change adds a rebellious touch to makeup looks, drawing inspiration from punk and alternative fashion styles.
