The city’s hot and steamy, so it’s the perfect time for Sunday Styles. As of late, I have been rocking my summer shirt dresses by Saywood Studio. I am not a fashion influencer, but I have a personal style that is modest, and Saywood Studio has pieces that fit my lifestyle choices.

Created in 2020 by Harriet Saywood-Bellisario, who graduated from the London College of Fashion. She worked at Paul Smith, Richard Nicoll and Label/Mix before launching her brand Saywood Studio. Each collection creates beautiful edits of wardrobe essentials; for their first capsule, they focused on shirting. Both modern and timeless, each piece is made to be worn and re-worn. I have had my jean shirt dress on heavy rotation.

Sunday Style for Modest Fashionista
As a mature woman who loves fashion, my style is more modest, mixed with some Nordic styles. I like outfits that take me from the office to dinner with friends in class. The shirt dresses from Saywood fit my wardrobe esthetic. Easy to take on vacation, easy to take care of, and functional to wear.
Saywood Studio Japanese Denim
@stylecartelmedia @saywood.studio Love my Japanese Denim Rosa Puff Skeeve Shirt Dress by #saywoodstudios #demin #demimdress #modestfashion #foryoupage #fyp #fashiontiktok #fashioninfluencer #fashioninspo #fashionbloggerstyle #styleover40 #fashioneditorial #thebestfashioninfluencer
My favourite piece is the Rosa Puff Sleeve Shirtdress, Blue Light Wash Japanese Denim.
Sunday Style for Modest Fashionista
Made from beautifully textured Japanese cotton – woven by artisans using time-honoured techniques in Ibara, Japan – it gets even better with age. The structural form is contrasted with easy volume, while the utilitarian feel of Denim is offset with playful details – the puffed sleeves, the patch pockets trimmed with ruffles, and the side splits on the skirt. Finished with dark-blue topstitching, adjustable corozo button cuffs on the sleeves, and neatly bound hems in contrasting lilac, it’s an actual forever piece.
Also available in limited-edition yellow check and navy check. If you like what you see and are in London Saywood Studio. are having a pop up at White City Studio the week of the 18th July.
