Tokyo-based Sacai, as led by Chitose Abe, has teamed up with the Bronx-born culinary collective Ghetto Gastro to create a fresh apparel collection. Super excited to shout out the dropped love of both lifestyle brands. How did this come about?
Sacai + Ghetto Gastro Collaborate
The capsule includes a pullover shirt, pants, and an apron adorned with Sacai’s signature black bandana graphic. Wicked! The standout piece of the collection is the shirt, which features a zipper on the left chest, adding an element of practicality to the design. Conversely, the apron boasts a waist wrap that can be adjusted according to your needs, making it perfect for the kitchen.
Created initially as uniforms for the “Sacai GASTRO” pop-up event at Tokyo Burnside, the collection was released on Friday, April 28, 2023. Fans can copy the group from Sacai, Ghetto Gastro, the Sacai Aoyama store, and Dover Street Market New York.
