Do you remember the first time your family got a Polaroid camera? Or have you worked for a model agency and this is what you use to cast? So you understand the excitement of getting our hands on the Keith Haring. Polaroid. Which celebrates The Artist and the Pride Collab with a difference.
Keith Haring’s Polaroid The Artist Camera

Keith Haring’s life and work were captured on Polaroid (his archive now holds this), and it is this genuine connection to the medium which is now being celebrated with a Special Edition Polaroid. Now and i-Type film, imprinted with his iconic cartoonish creations. A Polaroid camera back in the day was every graffiti artist’s other tool of the trade to capture their art on the run.

Keith Haring was born on May 4, 1958, in Reading, Pennsylvania, and was raised in nearby Kutztown, Pennsylvania. He developed a love for drawing at a very early age. Learning basic cartooning skills from his father and from the popular culture around him, such as Dr Seuss and Walt Disney.
Our Polaroid Moment with Keith Haring’s Polaroid

Haring believed in pushing the boundaries of creativity and that art can bring people together regardless of background, religion, age or sexuality. Aptly coinciding with this last year’s Pride events. In addition to the Polaroid X Keith Haring camera and film, they will also have a series of Polaroid images taken of Keith’s friends and former colleagues: Christopher Makos, Ande Whyland, Cey Adams, Danny Johnson amongst others, who have come together to celebrate Pride and Keith’s memory.

We had so much fun capturing our special moments with this limited edition Pride Collab in memory of Keith Haring. Head over to our Instagram and enjoy our memories. What moments would you capture at the moment?
