Kettel Atelier Unravel SS26

Kettel Atelier turned away from the traditional runway this season, inviting guests into Unravel, an intimate installation that blurred the lines between fashion, art, and sustainability. Rather than a choreographed walk, models moved through the space like part of a living artwork, each look telling a quiet story stitched from materials with a past.

For Spring Summer 2026, designer Laura Tønder expanded her signature use of vintage textiles and deadstock fabrics, transforming them into delicate lace pieces, soft knits, and sculptural dresses. Antique linens and flea market finds became gossamer gowns, while hand-knitted details added warmth and texture. The palette stayed muted and romantic, with an emphasis on form and texture over embellishment.

Each garment one of a kind. This is clothing that values the hand of the maker, the imperfections of age, and the intimacy of time-worn material.

In Unravel, garments became vessels for memory and art, inviting the audience to see fashion not only as something to wear but as something to feel.
