A New Era at Dior: Jonathan Anderson Takes the Helm
On 2nd June 2025, Delphine Arnault marked a new chapter for the house by announcing the exciting news that Jonathan Anderson is now Dior’s sole creative director.
Arnault praised Anderson’s transformative work at LOEWE, emphasizing that his decade long tenure at the Spanish brand has provided great proof of his vision, creativity and discipline required to take on a bigger task at Dior.
Anderson’s new role may come as a shock to many, a shock it truly is. He will oversee all ten of Dior’s core collections for every year: four for both menswear and womenswear individually and two haute couture collections and an addition to the accessories that will accompany each.
In addition to his new workload, he will still be working on his six collections annually for his own label, JW Anderson. As well as his ongoing collaboration with UNIQLO which requires him to produce two collections a year.

His first menswear collection for Dior will debut during the upcoming Menswear Fashion Week on 27th June 2025. He will be skipping this July’s Haute Couture Week to focus on preparing his first womenswear collection for later this year.
This appointment marks an exciting new era for Dior. While the amount of Anderson’s responsibilities has greatly expanded to almost an impossible scale, his track record can suggests otherwise.
If anyone can redefine the limits of creative leadership in fashion today, it might just be Jonathan Anderson.
