Discover the Fendi Menswear SS24 collection, a direct celebration of Fendi’s new factory in Capannuccia, Florence where the art of leather craftsmanship is being perfected.
The Fendi Menswear SS24 collection represents utilitarian elegance with exquisite expressions of Fendi’s craftsmanship, rooted in earth tones. Featuring mineral shades and raw materials, such as woven paper textiles, fine pattern print linen, and unbleached cotton drills, this collection showcases the beauty of these materials.
The collection highlights patch pockets inspired by workwear belts, showcasing both literal and figurative references to the tools of the trade. This is a nod to the working-class aesthetic that is prevalent in the collection.
A lot of playful accessories, such as woven baskets, raffia-embroidered weekenders, and structured and deconstructed bag shapes. A new trending baguette and peekaboo styles. We are gushing over the bags. The collection was heavily influenced by the brand’s labor-intensive processes. The designs featured leather and heavy drill reproductions of topstitched and hammer-looped workwear. Luxury work aprons and tool belts that were creatively styled into skirts. Overall, the collection is a a playful exploration of the corporate artisan in tactile expressions of the fund’s factory finest.
Delfina Delettrez, the artistic director of Fendi’s jewelry created a collection that incorporates everyday elements of the Fendi factory with a twist. The collection includes key-shaped pendants, dog tags with the phrase “Made in Fendi,” staff-only pins, and 1925 hoop earrings.
The Fendi SS24 accessories collection features the FEND Kengo Yuma project, which represents a fresh artistic dialogue between Italy and Japan. This project applies Puma’s principles to the iconic Fendi pieces such as the Peekaboo, Baguette Soft Trunk, and Fendi Flow sneakers, which are made using traditional materials like Waranshi paper, woven bamboo, birch bark, and Tuscan olive wood. In grained leather, the new minimalist satchel Fend Chiodo joins the collection. New shoes the Fendi lab clog with swivel heel strap and moulded FF sold in bio-based rubber. We really loved the series of blurred F-logo jacquards in indigo. The gen-z trend lately nowadays is focused on ‘quiet luxury’, which means understated elegance, that Fendi embraced in this collection. The appearance of Silvia and her colleagues at the end of the runway show is a demonstration of the authentic passion and masterful craftsmanship that was invested in creating this collection.
