The SS24 collection by BLUEMARBLE highlighted the designer Alvarez’s exceptional focus on detail, taking it to the next level. Bringing fashionista’s youthfulness and sophistication collide drawing inspiration from California’s skate and surf culture.

BLUEMARBLE  carried a lot of statement pieces, including boxy and loose-cut blazers, trousers adorned with hundreds of crystals along the side seams, work pant slacks featuring dropped rear pockets, draped shirts, oversized T-shirts, and skateboarder’s pants. The collection strikes the perfect balance between luxury and streetwear, with each piece making a bold and unique statement. The infusion of a playful and funky 70s vibe to even tropical climates vibes. Each style was paired with BLUEMARBLE’s own footwear, including mules with a twisted tongue taken from hiking boots. A great standout piece in the collection is a V-neck T-shirt held together by chains. It’s a must-have collection for any fashionista seeking a daring pieces.

Alvarez’s latest collection is undoubtedly one of his coolest to date, with silky fabrics and a touch of inspiration that caters to all styles of fashionistas. The bold and beautiful palette of yellows, blues, greens, and oranges is truly unforgettable. As someone who’s never been a fan of yellow, I found myself reconsidering it as a statement color for some of my pieces after seeing Alvarez’s take on it. The collection’s standout feature was undoubtedly the super series of hibiscus prints. The collection overall is perfectly styled and evocative of a nostalgic, joyful, and youthful era.
