The buzz of the collaboration describes the brand’s Classic clog as transformed into a pump, boot and platform pool slide. Thus far the shoes have been shown in bright green, grey and black. Images of the platform pool slide were not included in preview images.
Early on to the Crocs craze, Balenciaga first collaborated with Crocs on a platform version of the Classic clog covered in Jibbetz, a widely popular shoe first shown on the French luxury label’s spring 2018 runway.
Of course, Crocs are having an absolute moment in fashion. The comfy kicks have seen cosigns from everyone from Post Malone to Justin Bieber—whose Drew House pairs have sold out rather quickly—to even Diplo.
Recently rocking a pink pair on Instagram, Nicki Minaj actually crashed the brand’s website and caused an influx of people to drop dough on the popular clogs in Nicki’s favourite colourway, reportedly causing a 4,900 per cent spike in pink clog sales that only a queen could be responsible for.
