Year of the Dragon Collections of 2024

The 2024 Lunar New Year is here, taking place on Feb. 10. Compared to the standard New Year calendar, the Lunar New Year — this time the Year of the Dragon — is commemorated over multiple days.

In Chinese culture, the dragon is seen as a symbol of authority, honour and dignity and has long represented imperial power. The Year of the Dragon is considered a fortunate one, and the Year is said to bring the ability to harness brilliance, leadership and creative pursuits.

Fourth of the Lunar New Year, fashion brands have begun debuting pieces to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Dragon-themed merchandise has been a part of ready-to-wear, accessory and jewellery collections, from denim brands like Levi’s to watch brands like Tag Heuer.

Style Cartel has compiled a list of this Year’s Lunar New Year capsule collections and limited-edition pieces honouring the Year of the Dragon.
