Sporty & Rich, the wellness-inspired lifestyle brand created by Emily Oberg, is excited to announce the opening of its first-ever physical store in New York City’s popular SoHo. The store, located on Greene and Prince Street, spans over 3,600 square feet across two floors. Designed by architect Uli Wagner and brand founder Emily Oberg, the flagship store boasts a modern aesthetic with primary color accents and neutral design elements.
Aside from offering a wide range of ready-to-wear and lifestyle products, the Sporty & Rich store provides a unique shopping experience. Customers can immerse themselves in the world of Sporty & Rich, which includes a fully functional café and in-store wellness treatments. The café offers a variety of coffee, tea, matcha, pressed juices, smoothies, and vitamin shots. Additionally, there are two treatment rooms where customers can enjoy Lymphatic Drainage Massages and Sculpting and Buccal Fat Facials, available by appointment.
Founder Emily Oberg expressed her excitement about bringing the Sporty & Rich brand to life through a physical store. New York City was a natural choice due to its reputation as a shopping hub and the presence of renowned brands. Oberg reminisced about her first visit to SoHo and how it sparked her desire to be part of that vibrant world. Now, after ten years, her dream has become a reality.
Sporty and Rich initially started in 2014 as a mood board, showcasing images that represented a life surrounded by beauty. It eventually evolved into a print magazine covering design, creativity, and forgotten moments. Today, the brand offers thoughtfully designed products that prioritize longevity over temporary trends.
The Sporty & Rich flagship store, located at 133 Greene St., is set to open its doors at the end of June. It will exclusively carry Sporty & Rich products, including their upcoming beauty collection. This opening follows several successful projects, including the adidas Originals x Sporty & Rich collaboration launching on May 4th.
