Bahnsen’s collection is a meditation on time and fleeting beauty, using florals as a key motif. It’s not just about pretty flowers, but what they symbolize – the ephemeral nature of a moment. The designs mix sculptural precision with fluidity, think cinched puffs and sheer fabrics. There’s also a nod to utilitarian wear, with runner-inspired details appearing in unexpected ways, like a hybrid dress with an integrated vest.

Fabric and texture are crucial, with a focus on repurposing and reimagining. There’s a silver look made from archival fabric, bringing past elements into a contemporary context. Florals are everywhere, stitched, woven, and embedded, evolving with the body’s movement. The collection plays with contrasts: romanticism and dark romanticism, soft pinks to deep blacks, and even technical collaborations with The North Face and ASICS.
The show’s backdrop was inspired by Tal R’s “Untitled Flowers,” adding an artistic, almost graffiti-like energy. The live experimental guitar music heightened the tension between control and release. Overall, it’s a collection that explores the beauty of impermanence and the quiet poetry of change.
