It isn’t NYFW without Off-White, who brought high school into the runway, quite literally. Their show took place on the rooftop of New York’s New Design High School. Their spring/summer 26′ collection called “Pop Romance” paid an ode to “Black creativity that shaped disco, hip hop, graffiti, and streetwear,” as the brand explains. The runway is surrounded by graffiti murals done by artists based in New York. The models strutting down the runway showcased “athletic references, varsity codes, luxe accents, and Swarovski crystals,” combining “bold silhouettes, graphic contrasts, and vibrant accents” that encompassed “the city’s urgency and edge.”
To truly encompass creativity and community, Off-White partnered with graffiti artists Mast, Chris Daze Ellis, Lady Pink, and Rob CES Provenzano to truly immerse guests in a world of art.

My Honest Review:
I thought the collection was a masterpiece. The collection celebrates art, culture, and community. It really becomes an immersive experience. The collection told a deeper story where romance and pop blend together. Through subtle details that evoke a school aesthetic, the clothes are transformed into wearable pieces of art. The collection is bold and daring, yet meaningful in its way of paying homage to “Black creativity” by bringing art and culture together. The collection portrays romance in a unique way that delves deeper into the concept of self-expression. It is the perfect mix of streetwear and authenticity that makes each piece stand out, hence making the customer stand out.
