I recently visited Malika Sky Rooftop Bar and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. Located inside Kamila Resort & Spa Phuket. It is definitely a underrated rooftop spot. Upon entering Malika Phuket, you’ll be instantly in awe by the panoramic view of the bay. You can see almost all of Patong and more from there.
The service provided by our waitress Roong MJ Tum was exceptional, adding a personal touch to our evening with her superb recommendations.
The atmosphere is perfect for both families with kids and I highly recommend for couples looking for a romantic setting.
Started off with Fried Calamari with frites. If I’m honest I’m not the biggest fan of squid but this was so good. Then we ordered chef recommendations. The one item on the menu that stood out to me was Beef Tenderloin Steak with fettuccine peppercorn sauce. It was absolutely delicious, there was so much flavour but not overpowering. The steak was cooked medium rare and it was absolutely perfect.
I wanted to try the Duck confit. I have to say the Duck was exquisite. It was tender, not too dry and well seasoned. A little sweet yet flavorful. I had a Malbec to begin with to go with the food. It was then cocktail hour for me. There was a few speciality cocktails that stood out to me but Maphrao Mo Kaen was my favorite. It is a Rum Bacardi infused Roasted Coconut, Coconut Liqueur with Coconut Cordial. It was divine, also came from a coconut!
The highlight, however, was the breathtaking sunset views that added a magical touch to the entire experience. Kalima Sky Rooftop Bar is definitely a must-visit for anyone seeking great service, fantastic food, and memorable moments. I’ll be returning soon to create more wonderful memories 🤍 10/10
