JACQUEMUS X NIKE – “PARIS JTM” NEW COLLECTION DROP

We had Olympic fever, and many Parisians planned to leave the city, however, we stayed just to see Snoop Dogg with the torch. Nike has again partnered with Simon Porte Jacquemus and his eponymous fashion brand to create an unmissable expression of sport and style in celebration of the ultimate muses: the city of Paris and Nike’s global portfolio of athletes. These pieces are destined to sell out fast.

@stylecartelmedia The new star studded @Jacquemus x @Nike campaign video is here and we’re more excited than ever for the Paris Olympics @NIKE FRANCE #fyp #pourtoi #foryou #jacquemus #campaign #fashion #nike #centralcee #manurios #paris #olympics ♬ GIRLS – The Kid LAROI

JACQUEMUS X NIKE

The brands’ third collection continues to reimagine women’s and men’s sportswear — celebrating style in motion and championing a fluid relationship between performance and fashion.  Included in the collection are 10 distinct lifestyle pieces, such as reimagined tracksuits, T-shirts, statement bras and long skirts. The brands’ third footwear silhouette, the Nike x Jacquemus Air Max 1, infuses a Nike classic with a rounded, cubist Air unit and Jacquemus’ signature effortless style. The now iconic Le Swoosh bag, which fashions Nike’s trademark visual into a handbag, is back in three new colours and available for the first time across select Nike retail.

“PARIS JTM” NEW COLLECTION DROP

“This collection is born from the inspiration I find every day in Paris and in Nike’s athletes and the sports references I have always loved,” says Jacquemus. “I see the collection as a mix of sport, fashion and culture in the most beautiful city in the world, where Nike athletes will take centre stage this summer.”

The collection builds on a longstanding partnership between Nike and Jacquemus. The brands first collaborated in 2022 by mixing elevated silhouettes with athletic ready-to-wear pieces for a debut collection inspired by vintage ACG and ’90s Nike campaigns. More recent collaborations, such as 2023’s J Force 1 — inspired in part by the Air Force 1, an icon of both performance and style — look equally at home in an art museum as they do in lived-in spaces in the outside world. Most recently, the Spring 2024 collection debuted the Le Swoosh bag, a first-of-its-kind accessory that represents Nike, as imagined by Jacquemus, at its purest.

This summer’s collection nods to Jacquemus’ French roots and comes in red, white, blue and silver colourways. Launching with the collection is a campaign and short film, J’aime Paris, which marks Jacquemus’ directorial debut and features a cross-generational cast of global athletes; French icons; and vibrant muses across contemporary culture, including Serena Williams, Juliette Binoche, Central Cee and Lila Moss.

“When in Paris, the world simply feels different: more romantic, artistic and beautiful,” says Jacquemus. “J’aime Paris is an ode to the city I adore, drawing out all I love about this vibrant place and how those inspirations manifest in my third collection with Nike. This video is a blend of Jacquemus’ icons and a unique mix of talents that represents French culture.”

The Summer 2024 Nike x Jacquemus collection launches July 10 across jacquemus.com and Jacquemus retail, including an exclusive silver colourway of the Nike x Jacquemus Air Max 1. The collection will become available on Nike platforms on July 23, when the Le Swoosh bag and Air Max 1 drop on SNKRS and the apparel collection launches across nike.com. On July 25, the full collection will be available across nike.com and at select retailers.
