Haider Ackermann’s first campaign for TOM FORD feels like walking onto a private film set, intimate and a little surreal. Carrying over the mood from his debut show, he shifts the atmosphere with new light. Instead of dark shadows, there is a glaring morning brightness that feels almost too real.
The backdrop is a room of mirrors, steamed and hazy, creating reflections that multiply the characters and blur the line between what is true and what is imagined. It feels personal, yet staged in the best way, pulling you into its mystery.
The clothes bring the scene to life. Soft pastels sit next to deep grays and solid blacks, all cut with a sharp precision that makes them sensual without effort. Every color feels intentional, every look carries a confidence that is magnetic. There is elegance in the way the models hold themselves, with a calm strength that lingers.
Ackermann creates a balance between light and shadow, clarity and haze, presence and illusion. The campaign feels cinematic yet stripped back, polished but still raw. It sets the tone for his vision at TOM FORD and leaves you curious for what comes next.
