Watch out, because REONVE by Baek Ju-Hee might just be Korea’s next leading hanbok designer. Her creations go far beyond the typical “modern hanbok” reinterpretation. They are nothing short of couture level art. Think, exquisite embroidery, expert craftsmanship, alluring silhouettes and a beautiful selection of textile. Every piece feels like a wearable masterpiece.

First discovered at JF3 2025, REONVE’s booth was tucked away at the very end of the showroom, but that did not stop it from drawing attention, mine included. the craftsmanship was immediately apparent. From the precision of stitching to a flawlessly flat, smooth embroidery, the details were immaculate. The designs felt refined and contemporary, yet never lost touch with hanbok’s traditional roots.
I could go on, but one thing is clear, REONVE is a name to watch.
