Fait Main – Handmade
Celebrating Italian craftsmanship, this room invites visitors through traditional techniques like basket weaving, embroidery, beading, patchwork, and crochet. Each piece reflects the rich cultural diversity of Italy and highlights Dolce & Gabbana’s dedication to preserving artisanal traditions.




2. Architectural and Pictorial
Remnants of the Renaissance, this room draws parallels between fashion and Italian architecture. Garments pay homage to the works of Italian masters like Da Vinci and Botticelli, showcasing meticulous construction and pattern-making that mirror the precision of architectural design.


3. Dream of Divinity
Enter a world of mythology and legend, these godly creations inspired by Greek mythology highlight creations from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2019-2020 collection, graced in a setting reminiscent of the Temple of Concordia



4. Divine Mosaics
Sparkling sequins and intricate patchwork, this room pays homage to Byzantine, Arab, and Norman aesthetics. Set against a gold mosaic tile backdrop, the designs are a testament to the brand’s love for opulence, detail and proof of their mastery in craft.




5. Sicilian Traditions
The shock of vibrant colors and bold patterns that paints the room is inspired by Sicilian ceramics and carts. Highlights include hand-painted SMEG fridges and walls, blending traditional Sicilian artistry with Dolce & Gabbana’s signature flair of being over the top.


6. White Baroque
A tribute to Giacomo Serpotta, this room focuses on Sicilian stucco art. Pure white garments feature sculptural elements crafted from horsehair and mikado fabric, replicating the same techniques used when creating these statues through garment making.



7. Devotion
At the heart of the exhibition, this golden room centers on a Baroque-inspired cape paired with their iconic sacred heart as the backdrop. The dazzling designs symbolize love, life, and passion that is evoked through their golden, luxurious creations that pleases the eye and captures the awe of audiences

8. Ateliers, Ornaments, and Volumes
Peek behind the scenes into Dolce Gabbana’s sartorial workshops. From pattern-making to embroidery, sketches and drapery, this room offers a glimpse into the meticulous process behind their iconic creations.


9. The Leopard
Inspired by their cult film “The Leopard”, this room reimagines the grandeur of Palazzo Gangi’s ballroom. The centerpiece is a leopard-adorned Alta Moda dress that was featured in the film reflecting upon the fusion of tradition and modernity.

10. In the Heart of Milan
The showstopper of the exhibition is a golden macramé lace dress inspired by Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Duomo’s Madonnina. This piece epitomizes Dolce Gabbana ’s understanding the importance of Milan in fashion.

This theatrical room celebrates Italian opera with extravagant designs that echo the drama and emotion of legendary Italian opera performances, sharing a symbiotic relationship with fashion as it can be used as a medium to bring expressions to life.



12. The Art and Craft of Glassworking
Dazzling chandeliers and Venetian mirrors set the stage for crystal-embroidered garments. This room honors Italy’s glassmaking traditions, brought to life through Dolce Gabbana ’s innovative vision.
