The Garments

Models strutted the runway, bringing colors, texture, and details from the shore. Pastels from white, blue, pink, orange, red, green, and beige were accented with striking pops of black. Models seemed to be walking right out of the deep blue ocean, making a splash and bringing audiences into the experience with them. The designs are the perfect attire for any Caribbean getaway, as you can almost envision yourself wearing them.

The Impact

Though Aruba Fashion Week is not only about fashion, it’s about the culture and experience it brings. AFW brings together designers, influencers, and those who share a love of fashion from around the world. It forges a path for a community to come together and celebrate one another. Though what makes it unique is the location, surrounded by beauty through the calmness of the sea on one side, to the roughness of the sea on the other side, to off-roading and shopping at the busy downtown. AFW is where luxury meets paradise, creating an immersive experience that invites guests to get a taste of fashion and island experience.

Partners

Aruba Fashion Week is forged by its partners, including Aruba Tourism Authority, Departamento di Cultura Aruba, JOIA Aruba by Iberostar, and Local & International Fashion Leaders, as well as models and volunteers who all make the event possible.

AFW champions creativity, craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovation, which is visible throughout the experience. AFW reminds one that fashion goes beyond the runway, it is about the community that is formed to experience, discuss, and breathe fashion.
