Fear of God the Los Angeles-based brand directed by Jerry Lorenzo has dropped the spring 2021 Essentials on Instagram and it includes the entire family. The drop will include the debut of Essentials Kids. The label is now officially a lifestyle brand like pioneers of American fashion like Ralph Lauren.
Fear Of God’s Spring 2021
The collection includes a lightweight jacket, hoodie, crewneck, half zip, polo shirt, t-shirt, denim jeans, sweatpants, shorts and snapback caps. All of which is themed on a black, taupe or oatmeal colourway the trendiest colours of the season. Perfect to match all the hottest sneakers to cop this season. There’s also a butter yellow colourway, which may be a children’s exclusive.
Essentials’ spring 2021 lookbook was shot by Shaniqwa Jarvis and incudes Jerry himself, along with his wife, Desiree Manuel, and children, Jerry Manuel 3rd, Liv Manuel and Mercy Manuel. A couple and family goals portraying today’s American family.
Essentials Drop Is A Family Affair
If you have coped with Essentials collections before, then you know the items are comfy. Made of cotton garments are sized for a comfy fit and are detailed with dual Fear of God and Essentials branding. For the upcoming collection, branding is placed on the back of adult’s garments and the front of children’s. Essentials Kids will be offered in early toddler to pre-teen sizing.
Priced from $30-$150, Essentials’ spring 2021 drop will launch on fearofgod.com on May 12, 2021.
Followed by a launch at the brand’s partner retail including Better Generation, END Clothing, Isetan, PacSun, Mr Porter, Nordstrom, Selfridges, Social Status, Ssense, United Arrows and Why Are You Here on May 14th.
As per usual, the label hasn’t yet provided timing though most Essentials drops launch at 10:00 or 11:00 AM EST.
