Dua Lipa’s Chanel Debut: A Perfect Match
Dua Lipa has officially joined the Chanel family. The “Houdini” singer stars in the new campaign for the Chanel 25 handbag, a spacious and stylish design perfect for the modern woman on the go. The campaign includes a film directed by Gordon von Steiner, known for his Grammy-nominated music videos, and print ads shot by David Sims.
In the film, Lipa arrives at a New York City studio for a photoshoot, where she poses with the 25 bags in various outfits, singing along to the ’80s hit “She Drives Me Crazy” by the Fine Young Cannibals. The campaign emphasizes the bag’s versatility and practicality, showcasing its ability to hold everyday essentials, including a computer and, as Lipa mentions, even her crystals.

Bruno Pavlovsky, president of fashion at Chanel, explained that the house was drawn to Lipa’s energy and her connection to the modern world. Lipa expressed her excitement about the collaboration, calling it a “dream come true” and the beginning of something special.
The Chanel 25 bag is available in small jersey, lightweight-grained leather, and denim, starting at 5,400 euros. Its design features two large pockets and can be customized with smaller bags or worn alongside the classic 11.12 bag.

Lipa highlighted the bag’s perfect size for her essentials, especially while travelling. She also emphasized the campaign’s themes of freedom of movement, self-expression, and on-the-go energy, which resonate with her as an artist.
