Emma Hedlund and Saif Bakir’s Spring Summer 2026 collection for CMMN SWDN channelled the mood of a holiday that never quite ends. The looks carried the ease of resort wear with the sharpness needed for city streets. The collection was warm, moving, and truly beautiful. The styling was perfect, from the tiny bead details to the beaded bags, which felt like a fresh take on woven accessories.
Tailored shorts appeared alongside delicate beaded body chains, while soft strands of raffia drifted from the side of a rich ochre suit. Lightweight linens and airy mesh knits kept the silhouettes effortless yet refined. A painterly batik print on men’s trousers offered a fresh take on the relaxed pajama trend.
Metallic knit dresses worn over trousers struck the perfect balance between casual and elevated, ideal for warm nights by the sea when the air is soft, the sound of waves lingers, and the stars shine brighter.
“We wanted to find light in darkness,” Hedlund shared. That feeling ran through the collection, from the warm colour palette to the playful textures, creating clothes that felt alive with movement and easy confidence.
I would happily wear every look This was one of my favourite shows of the week, and I believe CMMN SWDN is a brand to watch. I am excited to see what they do next.
