Eurostar Unveils Its First New Uniform in Over a Decade

Eurostar has entered a new chapter of style. From October 1, 2025, more than 2,600 Eurostar team members across all routes will step into sleek new uniforms the first major refresh in over ten years. The unveiling took place in true Eurostar fashion, with a runway presentation inside a train at Paris Gare du Nord.

As CEO Gwendoline Cazenave put it, “The new look is a reflection of who we are. Chic, elegant, and iconic, just like our team.”

Designed by French designer Emmanuelle Plescoff, who has previously worked alongside Christian Lacroix, the new look is a celebration of Eurostar’s 30 year heritage with a distinctly European twist. Think French elegance in sharp navy silhouettes, a nod to Brussels and Amsterdam with graffiti inspired neckerchiefs, and a touch of British self expression with bold green Dr. Martens.

The collection includes 54 interchangeable pieces designed for inclusivity and versatility, allowing employees of all genders, body types, and personalities to feel confident and comfortable. It is the first Eurostar uniform to be co-created with employees themselves. Eighty staff members were directly involved over a two year process, ensuring the designs not only look sharp but also perform in everyday work. Breathable fabrics, sports inspired stretch, and smart tailoring make this a uniform that balances practicality with style.

Sustainability is also at the heart of the project. Produced in the Euromed region, the collection uses eco-conscious fabrics like recycled polyester and organic cotton. Old uniforms will be repurposed through recycling programs in France, Belgium, and the UK, giving them a second life in products ranging from mattresses to garden materials.

For Eurostar, the uniform is more than clothing. It represents unity across its network. For the first time, staff across all countries will wear the same design, reinforcing Eurostar’s promise of one seamless, European travel experience.
