Runway Report: Highlights from Day Five of DFW

Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) is in full swing, and Day Five delivered a captivating blend of cultural heritage, innovative designs, and emerging talent. From multi-designer showcases to deeply personal collections, the runway was a vibrant tapestry of creativity. Style Cartel was on the ground to capture all the highlights.

DFW A Fusion of Fashion and Culture:

Day Five of DFW showcased the dynamic nature of fashion, acting as a bridge between cultures and generations. THAT Concept Store’s multi-designer showcase was a testament to this, bringing together a diverse array of international brands.

THAT Concept Store:

The multi-designer showcase curated by THAT Concept Store was a highlight, featuring Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collections from Hellessy, Christopher Esber, Philosophy, Giuseppe di Morabito, Studio Amelia, Khaite, Rock by GS, and Bil Arabi. The runway offered a glimpse into the trends of the upcoming season, from minimalist silhouettes to bold statement pieces and striking jewellery.

SaiJamin: A Nostalgic Journey:

SaiJamin‘s “Adiyuh: Memories and Dreams” collection was a deeply personal and evocative presentation. Inspired by the designer’s childhood and her father’s influence, the collection beautifully blended nostalgia and ethereal elements. Luxurious silks and jacquards in blues, pinks, whites, and blacks captured the essence of the Caucasus landscape, creating a moving tribute to family and heritage.

Molato: Honoring Moroccan Heritage:

Molato‘s “Beldi Beneath the Waves” collection celebrated Moroccan cultural heritage with a contemporary twist. The luxury urban wear brand masterfully combined traditional handwoven artistry with modern couture innovations. The collection evoked a sense of cultural pride, capturing the fluidity and motion of the ocean through intricate craftsmanship.

Les Benjamins: A DFW Debut:

Les Benjamins made a memorable debut as DFW’s first Correspondent Designer. Their “Altai Turks/Altaicana” Autumn/Winter 2025 collection drew inspiration from the ancient traditions and mythology of the Altai people. The collection showcased the brand’s signature luxury streetwear aesthetic with a powerful cultural narrative.

Day Five of Dubai Fashion Week was a celebration of creativity, culture, and craftsmanship. From established brands to emerging designers, the runway showcased the diverse and dynamic landscape of the fashion world. The event highlighted the growing importance of DFW as a platform for both regional and international talent.
