Michael Rider’s debut collection is available to shop in stores and online. The Celine Spring 2026 collection was released on November 12. This collection initially debuted at Paris Fashion Week, where Rider was able to showcase his creative vision for the fashion house. Following the creative direction of Phoebe Philo and Heidi Slimane, this collection was widely anticipated to see where Celine is heading design-wise.
This collection is vibrant and full of life. It’s tailored and edited, perhaps due to Rider’s past at Polo Ralph Lauren. And yet, at the same time, it’s playful and young, with bright red sweaters and chunky charm bracelets. This collection is vaguely reminiscent of Philo’s Celine, which was a turning point of the brand’s success.
However, Rider has managed to draw upon the best elements of previous collections whilst letting his own aesthetic shine through. The garments are modern and minimalistic, letting the quality craftsmanship speak for itself. The clothing in the Celine Spring 2026 collection goes to show that quiet luxury is alive and well.
The accessories, on the other hand, are where this playfulness is on full display. It’s easy to imagine putting together a simple look from this collection, with several fun accessories. Well-tailored denim with a wool trench but add to this some sleek sunglasses and the latest Triomphe bag with a fun printed scarf tied to the handles. Rider’s collection is wearable and chic, designed with the modern woman in mind.
This ready-to-wear collection promises an exciting future for Celine with Michael Rider as creative director. Shop the collection here.
