I recently visited Malika Sky Rooftop Bar and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. Located inside Kamila Resort & Spa Phuket. It is definitely a underrated rooftop spot. Upon entering Malika Phuket, you’ll be instantly in awe by the panoramic view of the bay. You can see almost all of Patong and more from there.

The service provided by our waitress Roong MJ Tum was exceptional, adding a personal touch to our evening with her superb recommendations.

The atmosphere is perfect for both families with kids and I highly recommend for couples looking for a romantic setting.

Started off with Fried Calamari with frites. If I’m honest I’m not the biggest fan of squid but this was so good. Then we ordered chef recommendations. The one item on the menu that stood out to me was Beef Tenderloin Steak with fettuccine peppercorn sauce. It was absolutely delicious, there was so much flavour but not overpowering. The steak was cooked medium rare and it was absolutely perfect. 

I wanted to try the Duck confit. I have to say the Duck was exquisite. It was tender, not too dry and well seasoned. A little sweet yet flavorful. I had a Malbec to begin with to go with the food. It was then cocktail hour for me. There was a few speciality cocktails that stood out to me but Maphrao Mo Kaen was my favorite. It is a Rum Bacardi infused Roasted Coconut, Coconut Liqueur with Coconut Cordial.  It was divine, also came from a coconut!

The highlight, however, was the breathtaking sunset views that added a magical touch to the entire experience. Kalima Sky Rooftop Bar is definitely a must-visit for anyone seeking great service, fantastic food, and memorable moments. I’ll be returning soon to create more wonderful memories 🤍 10/10

I went on a solo trip to Thailand for 17 days and I had the most amazing time. I explored the sun-kissed beaches of Phuket, Thailand. Recovery Travel Stockholm Hotel J

Once we landed, we found ourselves in one of Stockholm’s most scenic places Hotel J, the ideal getaway to experience the Swedish Archipelago and Stockholm’s city pulse. We travelled like locals and took the ferry from Central Stockholm to our cosy hideaway surrounded by the river, trees and lush yachts.

We enjoyed the walks in nature around the grounds or on the way to the spa. The air was fresh, and bird watching was terrific, especially seeing love birds.

At J, we were surrounded by nature, with pine trees around the corner and an outstanding sea view – only 25 min by boat from Stockholm Nybroplan with regular departs. Allowing us to have a few Tiktok moments. Girls are just being silly with stunning views and friendly locals.

Breakfast was poetic and healthy. It was healthy and full of choices to start your day. It was in the cosy dining hall that felt like a blanket with stunning Nordic-style decor.

Hotel J Relax Review

The luxury Scandinavian-styled decor of the hotel gave us many Instagramable moments. In our room, we lounged in the bathtub and on the outdoor terrace. Where we had a view of the clear sky and stars at night. And watched yachts and cruise ships sail by.  

Restaurant J

RESTAURANT J was terrific, and the staff was so friendly. The restaurant served us a delectable menu of seafood, drinks and desserts, with a breathtaking ocean view, jovial service, and fresh food made with the finest seasonal ingredients.

With a picture of the kitchen, we could watch the chef make the scrumptious Nordic Pizza with salmon on top made with local produce from the surrounding 30 000 islands of the Stockholm Archipelago. We enjoyed salads, a seafood platter, pizza, almond cake, and an apple crumble with vanilla ice cream because what’s a vacation without something sweet for the soul.

The restaurant was warm and cosy because they lit an open fire in the marine-furnished restaurant. We watched the sun go down over the harbour. This was the perfect Recovery Travel Stockholm adventure at Hotel J. We cannot wait to go back. It was amazing to stay here and continue my recovery journey because you only live once! #visitstockholm

Lounging

We hung out in the common area surrounded by the luxury Scandinavian-styled decor with a fireplace.

We played board games which we figured was a pastime for Swedes and sipped on after-dinner drinks and hot chocolate. Overall we had a restful and fantastic stay. We will go back this summer.

Inside Westfield’s new eSports video gaming studio you can order food with the push of a button and reserve private rooms like in a karaoke bar for you and your friends. So to answer the question yes, this is a safe space for female gamers. They even have all pink rooms with plush seats too. 

Wanyoo is Asia’s largest and leading e-sports studio, with over 10 million members worldwide and 1,200 stores across the USA, Singapore, Australia, UK and Canada, and the newest store opening at London’s Westfield Stratford is lit and Style Cartel approved for fun for you and your friends and is kid-friendly.

Wanyoo Esports Studio Gamers Paradise 

When you think of eSports, you probably imagine lots of sweaty teenage geeks sitting in a mini cinema-type space. The smell of crisps, dirty socks and Red Bull energy drinks fills the air as the Halo soundtrack plays in the background. Yet, Wanyoo is the total opposite of this, the space is a high-end luxury hangout for gamers. With cool blue neon lighting, bubble tea made from fresh fruit, and table service you can summon with the mere click of a button.

Style Cartel Checks Out Wanyoo

This is what you’ll find in Wanyoo – an eSports venue now open in Westfields, Stratford. Situated next to Sports Direct the hub is the second to open in London (there’s another in Charing Cross Road that’s “always full”, we’re told). As you enter you’ll clock Yi Fang, a bubble tea company that exclusively deals in natural ingredients. If you love bubble tea then you will enjoy one this summer in the Covid safe atmosphere.

The vibe is boujee and upmarket, with blue strip lighting illuminating the venue’s interior. In the entrance, the gameplay is projected onto a nearby wall. The Wanyoo marketing manager told us the lobby will eventually become a place for spectators to watch Twitch streams and socialise, a bit like watching football in the pub with your mates. If you are at the top of your game you will also be featured on the screens with your wins and score.

For the uninitiated, eSports is the catchall term for competitive video game playing. Games such as League of Legends, Valorant and Overwatch have spawned entire industries and teams of players train and compete for huge cash prizes in tournaments all over the world. A gateway made of several ethereally lit archways separates the lobby from the gaming space, which employees say is like “passing through a checkpoint”.

Wanyoo London

On every desk sits a button, which when pressed alerts the staff that the gamer needs table service. They can then order food without so much as having to look away from their screen. Around the space are dotted several sofas with large TV screens. Currently, most of them are connected to PS5s, but Wayoo is planning to add XBoxes and Nintendo Switches if the demand is there.

The sofas are aimed more towards casual gamers a lot of what Wayoo offers is geared towards the less serious crowd, who have come to view eSports studios as modern-day arcades. Just off from the main room, you’ll find the Duel Rooms, where two gamers can enjoy a session alone. You can even draw a curtain for extra privacy, or better lighting, making it ideal for gamer couples looking for a date.

Aside from the Dual Rooms, team rooms are set up for six players (most of the biggest eSports titles use teams of six), however these likely won’t be used until the rule of six is abandoned. The sealed-off rooms are mildly sound-proofed to help the team’s concentration, while controls will enable the teams to alter the temperature and play their music.

Wanyoo Westfield Stratford

In a similar vein, the studio includes a party room, which we were told is geared towards groups of teenagers keen to play team games like Rocket League without having to crowd around the same PC.”Usually two parents sit in the corner while the rest go out shopping,” an employee says. An older clientele is anticipated and Wayoo is prepared to offer alcohol for the post-work crowd should they turn up wanting to chill out and game.

We have already booked a return night for a double date night. Is this the future of fun dating or meeting new people. We hope so, so let the games begin.

The Clearpay Quarter launches following the reopening of U.K. retailers after a challenging economic year. The programming is aimed at helping to reignite British retail by bringing consumers back to this iconic shopping mecca. It will offer shoppers and fashion fans alike an ‘access all areas’ look at London Fashion Week, right by all of their favourite brands on the King’s Road. The three-day pop-up will feature streamed runway shows, fashion-themed films and exclusive food and drink menus, complementing London Fashion Weeks offers from over 30 fashion and beauty boutiques, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood including Rixo, Copit, Bluebird and The Fashion School. 

Over the weekend, consumers will have the chance to relax in the ultimate summer set-up, catch up with friends whilst taking in the shows via a giant screen at Duke of York Square, shop the Clearpay app from the comfort of a deck chair, and watch iconic fashion themed films in the evening. Visitors will also have the opportunity to win a shopping prize by capturing content in the highly-Instagrammable space – posting directly to social media for exclusive fashion giveaways. 

Guests can sip cocktails and mocktails throughout the day, grab a mint ice cream and popcorn inspired by Clearpay’s brand colour, Bondi Mint – as well as order delicious food from local favourite Vardo to be enjoyed from their deckchairs or on the Green opposite the Saatchi Gallery, open for picnics throughout the weekend. 

To continue the London Fashion Week celebrations, two fashion illustrators will be located along King’s Road capturing the atmosphere and stylish looks of shoppers, leaving visitors with their own complimentary LFW memento to take away. 

The Clearpay Quarter will be open from Friday, June 11th – Monday June 14th from 10:30 am – 9:30 pm. Friday will see London Fashion Week February runway highlights on the big screen before the live show schedule commences on Saturday 12^th up until Monday 14^th.
