We checked into The Lost Poet. This curated townhouse delivers. Four unique rooms reside inside. It’s a glorious Victorian building. Modern conveniences blend with heritage. Each room boasts character. It draws inspiration from Portobello Road. Modern art hangs proudly. Bold wallpapers impress. Bespoke furniture feels chic. Antique trinkets add charm. Reclaimed wood lines the walls. It came from old science labs. Each room has a colour palette. This creates calm. It adds an abundance of character.

We loved our huge bed. It was super comfy. Our room offered entertainment. The terrace was a hideaway. We spied on passers-by below. They were surprised to see us. This hotel offers independence. Self-check-in is easy. Keyless entry means no cards. The reception is open 8 am-6 pm. Emergency phone support helps after hours. Note: The hotel closes for Carnival Weekend. Such a shame for revellers!
