MADE WITH PLANT-BASED MATERIALS.
Reebok has launched the Forever Floatride GROW, it’s first plant-based performance running shoe.
The sneaker’s 4 main components are eucalyptus bark, castor bean oil, bloom algae and natural rubber, and the design is made with looking after the planet as the focal point. Yes, these shoes are sustainable, fantastic quality, whilst also aiming to help with your running comfort.
The Floatride GROW is designed with extra support in mind, for daily training/workouts, making them much more comfortable. Other models in the extra-breathable and environmentally friendly collection have also proven popular, and gained quite the fan base. These include the Floatride Run 2.0, Forever Floatride Energy BIB Shoes, Reebok Floatride 6000, and Floatride Run Fast.
This Reebok plant based collection has many unique elements. The full carbon rubber outsole is durable and makes for a smoother flow, and the textured foam midsole is designed to maintain a neutral foot motion. The upper is made of 2 blended fabrics which come together at the back of the shoe, where there is also extra heel stability.
“The earth is a runner’s arena, and we have a responsibility to help detox the world for the athletes who run in it,” said Matt O’Toole, Reebok Brand President. “We want to help runners perform at their best, while also feeling good about the products they wear.”
