Converse Collaborates With Rick Owens

DRKSHDW x Converse TURBODRK Chuck 70 Ox

This upcoming project from Rick Owens blurs the line between classic shoes and hybridized designs taking on a white canvas construction. The TURBODRK Chuck 70 Ox showcases a square toe grill inspired by the platform boots. Owens has presented and worn in recent seasons. On the thicker platform-style soles that elevate the shoe are also thick tongues accented with co-branded tags that coordinate with the printed insoles.

Owens modified the Chuck 70 Low and High under his less expensive, more streetwear-oriented Drkshdw label. He offers up a truly freaky Rick Owens interpretation, with monochromatic shades of white and black shot through with a dash of gothic vibes.

Founders of Fecal Matter and the Instagram duo of Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran. Who have 751,000 followers, are fronting Owens’ campaign for Converse x Drkshdw TurboDrk Chuck 70s.

Darkened eyes and zombie makeup around their mouths, Dalton and Bhaskaran wore skintight leather bodysuits. And huddled close together for the campaign shoot, showcasing their chunky sneakers with their outsized tongues.
