Spin Classes During Paris Fashion Week

Weeks before fashion week I set out on a hip and healthy story journey, to find Spin Classes in Paris.  As a native New Yorker, I know there is a somewhere to stay fit on every corner of every borough.  Also having lived in London, it is the same. London is the  place where I fell in love with spinning.

My problem now is that Spinning has only now become a fad in Paris.   A few of my other blogging buddies decided to set up a challenge amongst us to get fit for the next seven weeks.  All during fashion weeks in the cities we live and travel to.  Where were the ladies going to get fit in Paris was my task?

I decided to take classes at the three most popular Spin studios in Paris. They all are different and have a totally different vibe.     Before we get to the details.   I want to ask what are you looking for in a work out?  If you are looking for good playlist, a great cardio exercise mixed with a lot of sweat and fun.  Then you might want to try spinning and it’s easier and cheaper than getting a day pass at a gym while in Paris.

Where to Take Spin Classes During Paris Fashion Week What it is: Spinning is a specific format of indoor cycling. Only certified Spinning instructors are allowed to teach “Spinning,” but other group cycling programs exist by different names, and some have their own certifications. Spinning is a cardio (aerobic) workout set to music and led by a certified instructor. Most classes last between 40 and 60 minutes.  The studios in Paris offer a 45 minute sessions.

The first studio I tested was Let’s Ride. This Spin studio offers 45 minutes of intensive cardio workouts. To give you the opportunity to transform your body and change your lifestyle.  Their coaching method is playful and varied choreography.  The Coaches create classes that work on both the top (dances, pumps, weights) and the lower body (speed, power).  Let’s Ride is the sexier of the three.  The sessions are geared toward getting your sexy back in the dark.

Classes are set to hip-hop classics, a little trap music and the latest pop tune to get your heart pumping.  Such as Ariana Grande, for those late night sessions.     If you do not speak French the center has you covered.  With instructors that have classes in English and speak English.  If you have to choose a coach I would recommend taking a class with Steph, she will make your body rock.  The studio is clean and very female friendly, if you know what I mean. The facilities allow you to keep that energy going and prepare for work, or a night out afterward.   Located: LET’S RIDE Studio 21 RUE DES 3 BORNES PARIS +33 1 84 05 81 91

The Third studio I tried out was Dynamo Cycling.  I had finally found the studio with the perfect playlist and amazing coaches.  The other two are quite good, but Dynamo has that je ne sais quoi. The only thing is they are closed on Sunday’s.     Dynamo aim is create an atmosphere for the movers and shakers in the Paris Fashion, Sports and Music scene.  Most of their clients work in these areas, so you never know who you are riding next too.     Classes are also in the dark and set to candle light, so it does not matter what you wear.
