This season Anteprima went gallery Girl trend. The collection is for the women who like to look smart, but sexy. The collection consisted of flowing silhouettes on the runway, as creative director Izumi Ogino paired effortless elegant pieces with the number one trend from New York to Paris sport luxe for her SS16 collection. Soft supersheers complemented solid geometry to a great effect with devoré diamond patterns, stripes, and the occasional appearance of floral found solidarity in the collection with an elegant, feminine appeal. One of the standout looks: a repeated diamond pattern transformed into a white net dress—clean and pristine with an edge.

Another mega trend is transparency and minimalism two very Italian elements to fashion that Anterprima luxury brand gravitated to. Garments that give you either a peek a boo or the see through element. Tops were see-through and made for layering. Another element visible in the collection was the Kimono sleeve cut of jackets and tops, making the collections wearable for many age groups of women. The designer is talking to a wide spectrum of clients with a collection for every women. The color palette is mainly black and white, with a little pea green, baby blue and yellow to make the collection feel like spring. This was a very safe collection and I wished the designer would take more risks. I know fashion is a buisnnes at the end of the day, but fashion week is also about pushing the envelope and mixing sell able pieces a long side pieces that are fun and artistic.
