Moncler Gamme Rouge SS 2016 PFW
The Moncler Gamme Rouge SS 2016 collection was like A Midsummer Night’s Dream, our heroine is in meadow with her friends and suitors partying the night away and ready for battle at any time. She likes a challenge and is ready to defend herself with her fencing skills and ready to dance around the maypole. This was the story creative director Giambattista Valli and Moncler Gamme Rouge unveiled at the Paris Spring/Summer 2016 runway show. Moncler is always about the mood of their shows from beginning to end, they like to tell a story with every collection. It was a mixture of hippie princess and female warriors.

Giambattista Valli went romantic, with feminine silhouettes and embroidered floral applique, with short and sweet ensembles and hemlines that made you want to sit in the meadow and make crowns for you hair out of daisies. The designer wants women to fall in love this spring and have the right pieces in her wardrobe to cast a spell on her suitor. All she needs is a mini bag, a pair of kicks and a floral headband to accessorize each look.
Our heroine also had to defend herself as if she was a princess in the Lord of Thrones, complete with a high fashion sporty out fit to battle her opponent. We saw a fencing theme throughout the collection too, with models carrying fencing masks and foils, letting the audience know they maybe dainty but they can fight to the finish intelligently.
You could kind of smell the fresh grass and the sweat of battle in the air. Fencing is a gentleman’s sport and these ladies have class and style.
Even though the collection was sweet, you can notice the sporty details of the collection, with the structure of the clothes. It was evident in everything from the asymmetric metallic jackets, translucent overcoats, nipped-in waists and strict A-lines, and according to Moncler Gamme Rouge SS 2016 box-fresh flat pumps are still in for Spring. Women can be comfortable, sporty and sexy all at the same time.
