For Winter 2016, Mulberry Creative Director Johnny Coca was influenced by the works of Shakespeare, fascinated by the playwright’s capacity to replicate all echelons of society, from the noble to the nobody, the royal to the rebel. 400 years later, Johnny Coca observes and finds inspiration in the same diversity and contrast on the streets of London.

The first collection by Mulberry's new Creative Director Johnny Coca will be shown at London Fashion Week on Sunday 21st February at 4pm. Ahead of the show Mulberry has released a short film introducing Johnny to the brand's followers for the first time. In the video Johnny speaks about his inspirations, his focus for the new collection and his decision to restore an original 1970s logo he found in the brand archives.
