Kids love exploring the world and summer is definitely perfect season for new adventures. But when they make so many precious steps to discover new possibilities, its so important they wear the comfortable and durable footwear. Sandals are shoes of the season, and we selected our two favourites that offer quality and style, that our little fashionistas will love. Matylda tested them in various conditions including water and beach, and they passed her test. Highly recommended!
Bobux Quickdry Collection
This collection is absolutely fantastic, because it offer leather sandals that are both lightweight, durable, and made to survive two key summer conditions – water and sand. The Quickdry Collection celebrates the playfulness of summer with vibrant colourways, fun designs and enable play even when kids are cooling off on a hot day. Made from a unique fast-drying leather, Quickdry sandals can be exposed to water without marking, and even after a water fight, a splash in a paddling pool or when fully immersed, they dry fast without irritating delicate little feet. They come in two styles.
The much-loved Zap sandal has been re-designed with unique fast-drying leather and in new bright, playful colours. The Tidal sandal boasts a clean design, accentuated by vivid hues including sapphire, emerald, rio red, yellow, navy and black. The second one is Tropicana. This elegant, woven sandal is also crafted from fast-drying leather. Active kids such as Matylda, can cool off during warm weather without water exposure affecting the condition of their sandals. Available in a range of colourways including rio red, watermelon, navy and gold.
Kavat Bomhus EP Sandals
Sometimes it’s best to keep things simple! And Kavat knows exactly how to make beautiful and stylish, yet simple design that will last! Made in Sweden the Kavat Bomhus EP sandal is flexible, light and perfect for summer adventures. The lightweight sole is made from cork and rubber while the anatomical footbed is soft microfiber for added comfort & breathability. I love them, because they are truly eco-friendly. Why? They are actually made from remnants of Kavat’s Eco Performance leather left over from production of other shoes, which is vegetable tanned. This is what I call sustainable production. And of course they are also water repellent, otherwise they wouldn’t last long with Matilda’s love for water! And two velcro straps mean, that she can actually put the on by her;se, which really improves her motor skills.
