How to Pull Off Stripes in 3 Ways
I love putting outfits together and often times when you see too many options in the end you don’t recreate any. This is why I think 3 is the perfect amount. I think a casual look, sporty look, and more dressed up look are the way to go. Like this you can incorporate your own style to each of the already created looks below.
3 Ways to Wear Stripes
The first outfit is simple, yet it grabs your attention. I like that the larger stripes give off a laid-back, casual look. The jeans add a more dressed up look when paired with colorful loafers. What also makes the whole ensemble more playful rather than serious is the YSL bag.
The next look is my favorite because I love neutral colors and vintage jeans. So, here we have black and white nautical style sweater styled with high-waisted, flared cotton jeans. This seems like the ultimate French girl outfit. Because Paris is such a walking-friendly city, most people are usually found wearing sneakers. I picked these Golden Goose sneakers because they were a neutral color that also bring in the brown tone from the Balenciaga bag. I like the little bit of red at the backs of the sneakers which add another subtle pop of color without going overboard or straying away from the theme – simple, elegant, and comfortable.
The colors in this third outfit are amazing and exactly what I would want to wear in either Paris or Miami in the summer. The white jeans are light and have flares which let in more of a breeze. Since neutrals are my favorite, the only colors I’ll try and wear are dark neutrals. This is why I thought this navy blue and burgundy peplum top are perfect together. The shoes add the extra spark that we always need in an outfit since the bag already matches with the top.
