Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Ibiza
Who would not want to go to Ibiza for fashion week? After visiting the hippie’s paradise, it is about time fashion makes a come back to the magical place. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend travels to Ibiza for second edition featuring catwalk of top Spanish labels.
We have been to the celestial city before and cannot wait for the second edition of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Ibiza catwalk will take place on Saturday 25 May at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel featuring some of the biggest names in Spanish fashion including Alvarno, Andrés Sardá, Jorge Vázquez and new for 2018, The 2nd Skin Co. and Custo BCN.
The 2018 catwalk will also welcome London based designer Melissa Odabash who will showcase her swim and beachwear collection, now available in more than 50 countries, bringing a new international design element to the show.
The event is organised by Mercedes-Benz Spain and Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, together with Madrid’s international trade fair institution, IFEMA.
Featuring a more comprehensive collection of labels with a greater number of catwalks and presentations from Spanish brands, as well as a guest international designer, the event will unite key members of the fashion industry in the trend-setting location of Ibiza.
MBFW Ibiza is being organised by Mercedes-Benz Spain, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and IFEMA. The event is being led by brand director of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, Daniel Gómez Korf, and Charo Izquierdo, fashion and beauty events manager at IFEMA and director of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.
Picture this fashion, fun and the Mediterranean Ocean as the backdrop to a fashion weekend in the sun. As well as bringing the most current labels to the heart of Ibiza and setting the fashion agenda for summer 19, the event marks one of the biggest social gatherings in Ibiza, positioning Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel as a meeting-place for key influencers from around the globe.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Ibiza is sponsored by L’Oréal París, which will is the official makeup and hairstyles brand for the event, and the fine jewellery firm Chopard, as well as Air Europa as the airline that will fly models and designers to Ibiza. Follow us on Instagram to see live coverage.
