Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring 2013 runway show paid homage to the jet- setters, socialites and celebrities captured in the iconic American photographer, Slim Aarons 60s and 70s style photograhs. Minkoff showed her sporty side pulling inspiration from the decor, fashion and art of that era, as seen in sexy jogging shorts and track style jumpsuits. The show opened with a cool laid-back summer party vibe to the retro vibes of band Tennis’ music playing live on one side and across the way with modern day sounds from DJ Cassidy dressed in a seersucker suit and straw skimmer hat.
