Rag & Bone S/S 2013 Runway Report

by Tillie Eze

Loving the Layers – Last season Rag & Bone introduced the proper way to layer, with dark reds, black and leather. This season, Rag & Bone S/S 2013 Collection layers lightly. With the same idea of layering, they presented lighter materials for the Spring/Summer season.

Themes – Motor cross meets country farm style

Colors – White, salmon, coral, black, tan, neon green, bright blue

Key Items – Short jumpers; oversized trench; overalls; baggy trousers; two-tone platform heels; motor cross Oakly shades; color blocked clutch; color blocked, peep toe, platform, back lace shoeties

Print/Patterns – Pinstripe

Details – Leather piping, scalloped edge, oversized pockets, hoodie, zipper

Material – Leather, light weight fabrics

Swag – Simply put, this is a tomboy’s dream wardrobe. Most likely to be seen on Jessica Landström, Megan Rampino (off the field, of course) or Nina Sky and Ruby Rose while on the turntables – this collection is perfect for the ladies who aren’t the frilly, frou frou, femme.
