FRAGRANCE FRIDAY – New Mon Guerlain Florale
New Mon Guerlain Florale fragrance embodies the essence of femininity. It is a fresh and gentle interpretation inspired by a flower unfolding in the morning dew. A new facet of femininity explored by the Guerlain Perfumer. Luminous jasmine – exceptional raw ingredient used in large amounts is a striking move by the perfumer, which particularly showcases Mon Guerlain’s lavender-vanilla accord.
This quadrilobé bottle designed by Gabriel Guerlain was created by the house of Baccarat in 1908. It has held legendary fragrances and over the years has established itself as one of Guerlain’s iconic bottles, inspiring a host of artists and designers, who have reinterpreted it through their creations.
Streamlined, graphic and restrained, it is inspired by an alchemist’s bottle and owes its name quadrilobé to its stopper carved from a solid block to obtain a four-lobed shape. Combining contrasts expressed by the strength of the taut lines and the sensuality of the curves, it evokes a strong, free and sensual femininity.
