FRAGRANCE FRIDAY – Cartier Déclaration Eau de Toilette for Men
Twenty years since the launch of the Déclaration Eau de Toilette, Cartier perfumer Mathilde Laurent proposes a new sensation with the Parfum of the same name.
Fragrance and bottle appear in stark contrast: the new olfactory and stylistic interpretation serve to heighten the scent ’s elegance and intensity. Created in 1998 by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, the Déclaration Eau de Toilette left its mark on a generation. This striking, avant-garde fragrance became a signature scent for lovers.
An extraordinary alliance between cool cardamom (making its début in Cartier perfumery) and woody notes. This scent draws upon the potency of cedar, exploring its olfactory scope from Cardamom to Orange. Intensely spicy and woody, this masculine and bold scent give rise to a whole new olfactory family.
Déclaration also describes the distinctively shaped bottle. Twenty years on, the shape is more masculine and modern. It both builds on and reinforces its heritage. Like the new Parfum, its bottle is sophisticated and assertive, with its warm, deep tones capturing all the intensity.
