MONCLER FW 17/18 Women’s Collection

Have you seen the latest collection recently? Clearly, Moncler has made yet another “artsy” move at the WF 17/18 Women’s Collection pieces. The latest collection of the brand was a collaboration with famous artist Jean-Philippe Delhomme. The clothes were inspired by the paints on postcards. This season’s inspiration is the “Victorian Era”.

To describe wisely…

Moncler 17/18 Women’s Collection

Furthermore, sophisticated and trendy collection includes many outerwear apparel such as jackets, jerkins, overcoats in pure wool or wool combined with other fabrics. The quilted jackets simple and double-breasted ones, in various sizes and lengths. The ad campaign images mirror Victorian muses. The using of fruits on the table, simple black background, pastel shades of apparels inspire the “nostalgia-in-the-air” vibes.

The high and circled neck lines are other signs of hierarchy. In the meantime, the classicisme and experimentation there is much of retro and bohemian figures shaded onto the apparels.

The palette extends from metallic, continuous bass of dark grey, with a vein of iron, zinc and lead, traversing concentrated navy blue, anthracite, black and army green, and finishing with the dazzling bright shades of ivory. Another, checks and tartan rendered virtually minimalist and etched in their lattice pattern, ranks of gathered ruches, and crisp, sculptured geometric proportions.”  As a result these words are the best to describe the whole theme.
