Drake Burnette NY - SS14 Helmut Lang, Crop Top, dÇfilÇ, Drake Burnette 002

Drake BurnetteModel Madness Monday is back with Drake Burnette who seems to be making a coming back on the runway this Fall/Winter 2015 fashion week season. One of the only girls spotted in all three cities, with Paris Fashion Week to kick off this week. I predict we will se this model/actors from Texas, who started her career by starring in Larry Clarke’s Marfa Girl before making her runway debut at the Cèline pre-fall 2013 presentation. Drake Burnette, has opened shows for designers like Marni, and walked for HermèsFendi,Chanel. She also she walked with Kate Moss at Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2013 show.

Drake Burnette is a cool ass chick, on and off the runway. She is always the same person the fashion world does not change her. When you meet her once she stays the same, cool. Six months into her career she walked some of the biggest hitters: Marc Jacobs, Christopher Kane, Fendi, Marni, Missoni, Acne, Stella McCartney and Louis Vuitton. We last spotted her at the Pringle of Scotland 200 Years Autumn/Winter 2015 Womenswear Collection during London Fashion when she came out of nowhere.

When a casting director is in search of girl who can fit the description of, All American Girl, The British country side women and someone who can also pull off an androgyny chic look they call in Drake. Then the designers book Drake Burnette to make an appearance on the runway.

Portrayed the lead role in Larry Clark’s film, “Marfa Girl.” Drake made her debut in Celine Pre-Fall in January 2013.
