One of the coolest Asians I know is Prim Patnasiri. She is not only a model but also an actress and a photographer. She’s lately been working on her photography. Check it out her Instagram. You’ve probably thought “she looks hella familiar”. Well, she’s kind of everywhere!! Ranging from Adidas, Freedom Jewelry, Mykita, Hyein Seo several lookbooks, Glamour UK and strutting down the runway in London. In our mini-interview, I get to catch up with Thailand’s finest.

SC: What was your first memory of fashion?
PRIM: I remember when I first started modelling I really wanted to do catwalks but never gotten the chance to do so. I always wanted to wear long dresses and walked on the runway (haha). I literally would daydream about walking runways. Until one day it really happened. It’s crazy how things you sometimes visualize turn into real life.
SC: What has been your favourite modelling career moment so far?
PRIM: Through modelling, I got the chance to act and explore various recent fields of the creative industry which inspires me to work more towards being a creative not just as a model. I’ve gotten to meet with big photographers, stylists. To experience a work environment that is different from where I grew up. Having that luxury is something really special. To be able to experience, work and live within a culture/social environment that is completely different from my own, educating me in various aspects.
SC: What is your signature feature?
PRIM: I like to think it’s my eyes and lips? But I’m not too sure.
SC: Snapchat or Instagram Stories?
PRIM: Instagram stories! But snapchat is definitely more personal.
SC: Who is your dream designer to walk or work for?
PRIM: Acne Studios!!!!!
SC: What is your must-have on the road beauty product?
PRIM: Eyelash curler, moisturizer, face masks and scrubs.
SC: What are you up to when you’re not modelling?
PRIM: I’m actually a photography student at LCC at the moment! I try to do as many creative collaborations whether it’s with brands, artists or even photographers. I also read I love to read.
SC: Where do you see yourself in five years?
PRIM: As a model/artist with a business of my own!
SC: What model do you look up to?
PRIM: Devon Aoki, she’s sick. and Ugly worldwide – her confidence blows my mind the way she explores her identity and is so happy about all of it.
SC: What would you change about the modelling game?
PRIM: The way models get pressured about weight and body sizes.

SC: Runway or Commercial?
PRIM: It really depends on the job as both has its own charm!
