Hotel Hotspot in the 3eme
The Boutique Hotel Hotspot in the 3eme Paris is HOTEL NATIONAL DES ARTS ET METIERS. It is the new place to mix and mingle in Paris. Located on the border between the neighborhoods of Montorgueil and Le Haut Marais. The Paris hotel is the next hotel to land on the fashion radar.
It is a prime location for fashion week, appointments and meets ups. You can get all around Paris easily for this hotel hotspot. This new establishment makes a bold statement with its timeless design and offers a new way to experience the Parisian lifestyle.
The character and charm of the hotel fit excellently with the neighborhood. By choosing a location next to the Centre National des Arts & Métiers, the Hôtel aims to pay tribute to that century-old institution devoted to engineering and the teaching of manufacturing techniques. Raphael Navot, the designer in charge of the project’s artistic direction, took the steps of complementing the building’s historic character with an innovative design and exceptional craft expertise.
The building’s seven floors thus house some 70 rooms of various types, each one unique: with or without a terrace, overlooking the street outside or the patio, but above all boasting finishing touches worthy of a bespoke Parisian apartment. Don’t worry the hotel is kitted out with curtains to block out the sun and the street noise. Soundproof as well so you do not hear your neighbors. Decorated with a plush interior like the best art deco boutique hotels of the world. Including large flat screen T.V. to catch up on the latest current affairs if you dare turn it on.

Hotspot in the 3eme
Whilst having dinner we rubbed elbows with a mixed bag of Parisians and tourist. On the ground floor is a range of places to eat and drink (restaurant, bars and a cicchetteria), open to guests as well as the public. The menu offers a gastronomic menu where Italian cuisine meets creative mixology, and party vibes meet well-being without going over the top. Overlooking a tree-lined square with a village feel. The hotel is designed to blend in with the cityscape of the neighborhood, with a large terrace that offers an ideal place to catch some rays as soon as the sun comes out.
The hotel is designed to blend in with the cityscape of the neighborhood, with a large terrace that offers an ideal place to catch some rays as soon as the sun comes out. You can brush up on your French when you go out for a smoke. Or even eavesdrop on the table next to you.
The hotel’s commitment to sustainable development, an ecological policy covering the products and consumables provided for guests, and processes ranging from
recycling to utility management was put in place at the outset in order to ensure that this initiative would be built into the project’s DNA. Another added plus to staying here. Plus the staff is a courtesy, multilingual and ready to give you the advice to navigate the city or a charger when you need one. They take a deposit, but can you blame them? Chargers always seem to grow feet.
One of the best parts of the stay was the mint and lemon water accessible at the hotel bar. Even in the rooms, the water bottles are made of glass. Heavy to carry but great for the environment. Paris was having an Indian Summer that week, so much appreciate to have water to stay hydrated while bouncing around the city.
Roof Top Bar & Resturant Hideaway
We chose to have an early night and stay local and hang out in the rooftop bar Le bar sur le toit and dine at the Le Ristorante National. We wanted to have a romantic chill night and enjoy all the grandeur of the Paris hotel.
Le bar sur le toit
For a romatic evening in Paris with your favorite someone for a lovey-dovey evening with a view take the elevator all the way up! To the 7th floor of the hotel. The establishment’s ultimate bar is literally perched on top of the hotel roof. With a panoramic view over the capital is only accessible to a privileged thirty. Guests make made sure to book in advance in order to enjoy the luxury of a unique view over the rooftops of Paris. For romantic cuddles and intimate conversation. When you get hungry head downstairs for food that warms the heart.
Le Ristorante National
Just on the hotel patio beneath the retractable glass roof, Le Ristorante National welcomes up to 80 diners in a chic trattoria atmosphere. For this restaurant, which is open to the public, the trio has devised an Italian menu inspired by traditional recipes but above all by exceptional products sourced directly from the peninsula. Bathed in natural light, Le Ristorante National offers gourmet dishes in a friendly atmosphere, and attentive yet laid-back service. This is an elegant restaurant founded on the values of sharing and a love of food. Lunch : 30-35 €, dinner : 45-50 €
We recommend the seafood dishes which are enormous sized portions not normal for Paris. Yet, they take the Italian cuisine seriously. The lobster for two is a must if that is to your liking. A must when in Paris and on vacation is dessert. The waiter succeded we try the pistachio ice cream, but we hesitated until he insisted. We were glad he did, has it is a house favorite. We also indulged in a fig desert as well, of course, a Tiramisu.
Time for Bed
As the evening set on our night in Paris, we looked out the balcony window at the bustling city around us. As the Parisiennes rushed by us we say adeiu, closed the shutters and the sun blocking blinds. We wanted to enjoy a night of movies and comfort. The huge bed in our room was waiting for us. With all gadgets charging, we pulled the sheets back and continued with our nightly routine.
The Hôtel National des Arts & Métiers has designed its rooms as places of sanctuary where comfort takes priority. A place of hospitality, where Parisian heritage meets architecture
and innovation to create a sense of timeless charm. The 66 rooms at the Hôtel National des Arts & Métiers are spread across the six floors of the two Haussmannian buildings that make up the establishment. Overlooking a tree-lined square, Rue Réaumur or the establishment’s large inner courtyard, there are ten or so different room types ranging from Double Room (20 sqm) to Penthouse (100 sqm).
We stayed in a Signature Room with Balcony. It offers generous volumes and space (23 sqm) and the care is taken over every detail demonstrates the hotel’s bold sense of interior design. We had enough plugs for two and their gadgets. A minibar stocked with healthy and naughty treats. The crips are my favorite. The bathroom was big enough for two, including enough space for our toiletries. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Must stay boutique hotel before the fashion crowd takes over!
