Goodbye Humberto & Carol: KENZO SS2020

The bitter taste in my mouth when I learned Humberto & Carol decided to quit Kenzo. Simultaneous reading the email, the mystery of this time is, why did us fashionistas hear about this one day before the show? Kenzo continues to be one of the only unique, cool, everyday wear brands. Out of all brands, they brought on diversity and inclusion. Notably in their model choices. They engaged a lot by including new generations of creatives. Besides, watching this collection, I considered; they’re picking up after the massacre collaboration with H&M. I’m pleased we attended their final show. We witnessed an end of an era. Humberto and Carol are creative directors at their label Opening Ceremony. They desire to concentrate full time on their label OC. I question what’s next for Kenzo. Who will become the creative director of Kenzo? Will Kenzo remain Kenzo? Roughly, will the following creative deliver something distinctive? The collection prevailed special. A big bang out. Even Solange performed. Solange looked stunning in Kenzo. The men’s wasn’t compelling opposed to women’s. There is a lack of creativity in Kenzo men’s. It wasn’t unusual or exciting. I barely noticed a few strong looks. The women’s expressed fresh and powerful looks. Nevertheless, Kenzo women’s collection ruled.
